To play "Deck the Halls" on the recorder, follow these steps:
1. Place your fingers on the recorder according to the fingering chart.
2. Blow into the recorder to produce the notes.
3. Continue to play the notes according to the fingering chart.
4. When you reach a note that is lower than the previous note, lift your fingers off the recorder and then replace them on the recorder in the correct fingering position.
