Where did guns n roses get their name?

The name "Guns N' Roses" was coined by Tracii Guns, the original lead guitarist of L.A. Guns, and Axl Rose, the lead vocalist of Hollywood Rose. The two bands were frequently playing at The Troubador in Los Angeles, and Guns suggested the merger as a joke. Rose liked the name and decided to use it for his band, which at the time was still known as Hollywood Rose.
