What was the national anthem of Confederacy?

The national anthem of the Confederate States of America was "Dixie". It was chosen by the Confederate Congress in 1861 and was used until the Confederacy's defeat in 1865. The song was originally a minstrel song written by Daniel Decatur Emmett in 1859 and was widely popular in the Southern United States before the Civil War. It is still known today and is sometimes played at historical events and Civil War reenactments.
