What ever happened to willies place on XM radio?

On March 16, 2022, Willie Nelson announced that he would be ending his long-running radio show, "Willie's Place," on SiriusXM. The final show aired on March 20, 2022.

Nelson said in a statement that he was ending the show because he wanted to focus on his music. "I've loved doing 'Willie's Place' for all these years, but it's time for me to move on," he said. "I want to thank all the listeners who've tuned in over the years, and I hope they'll keep listening to my music."

"Willie's Place" first aired on SiriusXM in 2004. The show featured Nelson playing his music, talking about his life, and interviewing guests. The show was a popular hit, and Nelson was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame in 2019.

Nelson's departure from SiriusXM is a significant loss for the satellite radio company. Nelson was one of SiriusXM's most popular hosts, and his show helped to attract new subscribers. SiriusXM has not announced who will replace Nelson on the channel, but it is expected that the company will find a new host soon.
