What guitar does Leo Kottke play?
Leo Kottke plays a custom 6-string and 12-string guitar made by the Santa Cruz Guitar Company. His trademark, the 6-string guitar he calls "The Outback" is made from various tropical hardwoods. Both the 6- and 12-string acoustics have a signature inlay on the twelfth fret showing three fish swimming around a guitar, which was designed by his wife, Annette Kottke. Over the years, Kottke has also acquired a collection of vintage guitars and banjos.
