How to Add a Mini Plug to a Guitar Amp

A guitar amplifier's CD or auxiliary input allows you to plug in a CD player, MP3 player and even a cell phone to the guitar amplifier enabling you to "jam" to your favorite music track or band. You cannot connect a CD or MP3 player with a 1/8-inch jack to the guitar amplifier's standard 1/4-inch plug. Using an audio adapter is a simple solution to this problem, sparing you the trouble of altering or changing your guitar amplifier's CD or auxiliary input plug.

Insert one end of the guitar cable's jack to the audio adapter's mini plug for use with the electric guitar or insert the headphone's jack for use with the headphone.
