Ticketmaster boasts that it has more than 26 million monthly visitors who purchase entertainment tickets ranging from sports to live entertainment to concerts. As the largest ticket distributor in the world, Ticketmaster allows users to search its large online database of concerts by genre, artist, venue, date and more. Ticketmaster offers both the traditional hard-copy tickets, which are mailed to your house, and the "TicketFast" method, which allows customers to print their tickets from home.
StubHub, powered by the eBay company, is a popular ticket exchange website where sellers can resell their tickets to potential buyers. While generally tickets are listed as face value or less, popular concerts in sold-out venues may cause the demand and ticket prices to exceed face value. Click on the "Concerts" tab located at the top of the StubHub website and search for concerts by artist, venue, city and more. Like Ticketmaster, StubHub offers an "E-Ticket" service, which allows customers to print their tickets online.
TicketsNow operates much like StubHub, allowing customers to purchase tickets to sold-out concerts from sellers; the site's slogan is "The hardest tickets to get are now easier to find." Unlike Ticketmaster and Live Nation, who operate based on proprietary concert rights, TicketsNow has tickets to every concert and show across the U.S. and internationally. Click on the "Concerts" tab on the TicketsNow website and search through the database of concerts. Tickets are delivered via mail or online with the "TicketFast" service.
Live Nation provides and hosts more than 20,000 concert shows per year for more than 2,000 artists around the world. You can purchase tickets online or by phone; find a list of shows that are coming to your area online under the "All Shows" tab. VIP tickets are also available for certain concerts that include access to the VIP lounge, premium parking and potentially even a meet-and-greet with the artists. Live Nation offers traditional hard-copy ticket and "TicketFast" service, which allows buyers to print their tickets online.
