Instructions

  1. CD Burning

    • 1

Open iTunes and create a playlist of the selections that you would like to convert to FP3 format. Make sure every song that you want burned has a check mark.

    • 2

Insert the blank disc into the disc drive. A window should pop up saying that you've inserted a blank disc. Click "OK."

    • 3

Go back to the iTunes window, and click on the playlist that you've just created. Click on "Burn Disc" on the bottom right hand corner of the iTunes window.

    • 4

Open up the Fisher Price FP3 software, and click on the "Copy From CD" tab.

    • 5

Designate the track as a song or a story. Click on the tracks you want copied, and click on the arrow for "Copy From CD."

No CD Method Part 1: Image Burning

    • 6

Download and install Nero. Note: If you already have image burning software installed and know how to use it, skip this section and create an ISO image file of the tracks you would like to add to the FP3 player.

    • 7

Under "CD-Recorder" click on "Choose Recorder." Select "Image Recorder." Create the Audio-CD compilation of the tracks you would like to convert to FP3.

    • 8

In the toolbar, click on "Write CD." Check the settings. Select the "Write" box and deactivate the rest of the settings. Click on "Write." Enter the file name you would like to save it as when the dialog box pops up.

No CD Necessary Part 2: Image Mounting

    • 9

Download and install the Daemon Tools software. Note: If you already have a virtual disk drive and know how to use it, mount the image created with the burner onto the disk drive, and use the Fisher Price FP3 software to read it like a CD.

    • 10

Open Daemon Tools and select "Virtual CD/DVD-ROM." Select "Device" and click "Mount."

    • 11

Find the image created with the image burning software (Nero). Click "OK."

    • 12

Open up the Fisher Price FP3 software, and treat the newly mounted image as a CD to transfer the music.
