How to Make an Instrumental Out of a Song

Instrumentals are great for DJ mixing, but making an instrumental out of a current song can be a daunting task. In a standard sound file, both the vocals and instrumental portions of the song are on the same wave file. This means that there is no simple way to "cut" the vocals out. With the use of special software, though, it is possible to isolate the vocals, and remove them with a few clicks.
