How to Edit MP3 ID Tags

ID3 tags for MP3s store important information about the file, such as artist, song title, album and track number. They're used by programs like iTunes to categorize and organize songs, and can make finding music a lot easier. Sometimes ID3 tags are wrong or incomplete, however, and that can make a real mess of your music collection. Most music-playing software, like iTunes, has built-in ID3 tag editing capabilities, and there are also programs dedicated to editing ID3 tags. Using them can help ensure your music collection is always organized.
