How to Adjust MP3 Key of Song

MP3 (MPEG Layer 3), the format used for storing digital copies of music, is fully supported by a variety of digital music programs which can be used to alter the key of a song. Doing this will alter the sound of the instruments and voices in a song noticeably; no program exists that can flawlessly transpose a song up or down a key. It is instead accomplished by altering the overall pitch of the MP3, and there are a few pieces of digital audio software available that are particularly suitable for completing this task.
