How to Hide the Mixpod Music Player

Mixpod is a digital music player created for the social media market enabling users to create playlists and share their music and videos on websites such as Myspace or Facebook.

As with social media profiles, a Mixpod music player can be customized to suit your preferences. Your player's "skin" color can be changed, as can the order songs are played in and the physical size of the music player. These first two processes are completed by adjusting the player's settings, whereas the latter process usually requires an adjustment to your profile's HTML coding.

Instructions

    • 1

Locate the HTML code in your social media account which refers to the Mixpod music player. Although it changes between social media accounts, it is usually located in an "About Me," "Biography" or "Edit Page" section within your profile's settings. It is likely that you added the code in the first instance, but if not, find the relevant code by looking for a section which includes the term "mixpod."

    • 2

Copy this HTML code, and paste it into Microsoft Notepad or a similar program on your computer.

    • 3

Edit this code so the numerical values following "width:", "width=", "height:" and "height=" are changed to "0px." This will ensure that the player is invisible, as you have effectively changed its size to 0.

    • 4

Paste this new HTML code back into your social media profile so it replaces the previous code, then save the changes to your profile settings.

    • 5

Return to the social media profile's main page to view the new Mixpod music player. If it can no longer be seen, you have completed the task successfully. If you can still see the music player, return to your account settings and examine the HTML text to ensure all width and height sections have been amended to read "0px."
