How to Make a Voice Envelope Generator
A voice-generated envelope will allow you to create strange sounds or to dynamically alter an existing synthesizer patch. It can be an expressive way to create sounds, since you are controlling them with your own voice. Depending on the capabilities of your synthesizer, you may even be able to output MIDI control data based on your voice. You can make a voice envelope generator from any synthesizer that has an envelope detector.

Connect the microphone to the preamplifier with the microphone cable.
-
2

4
Play a continuous note on the synthesizer.
