How to Interface MIDI With a Drum Trigger
Musical Instrument Digital Interface, MIDI, is a technology that allows musical instruments to be directly modulated, digitally recorded and synchronized by computers. MIDI normally only can be used with instruments that have a MIDI-out port, which outputs digital representations of the musical instrument's sounds so that they can be understood by a MIDI interface that is connected via USB to a computer. Drum triggers are among the instruments that can interface with MIDI without having a MIDI-out port. Connecting them to your computer via MIDI can be done with the use of a trigger to MIDI converter.
