How to Change a Time Signature in Fruity Loops

Fruity Loops Studio is a music production software application designed to assist composers in creating electronic music. The software is traditionally used by techno or dubstep artists, but can also be used as a simple tool for creating hip-hop and R&B beats. If you want to change the time signature of your song in Fruity Loops, you will need to change the default project settings.

     Open Fruity Loops by double-clicking its icon on your desktop or locating it in your "Start" menu.

     Click "Options" and select "Project General Settings."

     Enter the time signature of your choice under "Time Signature." For example, ¾ time would be four bars and three beats.

     Close the window and the settings will automatically be applied to your current project.
