Complete the necessary forms within the ASCAP application system. If you have not located the online application, click the "join" button in the menu at the top of the ASCAP homepage. Select the "writer" button if you are attempting to secure the rights to a song you have written, or select the "publisher" button if you wish to create sheet music for a song you have composed or gained distribution rights to.
