How to Use Analogy Autotune on My Computer

If you want to transpose an audio sample, you can use a freeware program called AnalogX Autotune. It allows you to convert a WAV file from one dominant scale to another. If you have a sample played in the key of C, for instance, you can shift it down a few half-steps to the key of A.

      Navigate your browser to the AnalogX Autotune Download site: analogx.com/contents/download/Audio/autotune/Freeware.htm.

      Download and run the installation file.

      Open the program.

      Enter the dominant note you want into the top left dialogue box. For example, if you enter "C4," this sets middle C as the dominant note.

      Open the folder where your sample is stored. Click and drag the sample file onto the AnalogX window and wait.
