Here's a step by step guide on how to put music from a USB onto CD using Windows Media Player:

Step 1: Gather Materials:

- USB flash drive with music files.

- Blank CDs that are compatible with your CD burner.

- Computer with a CD burner and Windows Media Player installed.

Step 2: Insert USB Drive and Blank CD:

- Connect the USB flash drive to a USB port on your computer.

- Insert a blank CD into the CD burner.

Step 3: Open Windows Media Player:

- Click on the Start menu, type "Windows Media Player," and select it to open the application.

Step 4: Rip Music from USB:

- In Windows Media Player, click on the "Rip" tab.

- Select your USB drive from the "Rip From" drop-down menu.

- Select the music files you want to rip from the USB drive by checking the boxes next to them.

- Click on the "Rip" button to start the ripping process.

*Windows Media Player will convert the selected music files into digital format and save them on your computer's hard drive.

Step 5: Create Playlist:

- Once the music files are ripped, create a new playlist in Windows Media Player.

- Drag and drop the music files from the library to the playlist.

Step 6: Burn CD:

- Click on the "Burn" tab in Windows Media Player.

- Select your CD burner from the "Device" drop-down menu.

- Drag and drop the playlist onto the burn pane.

- Click on the "Start Burn" button to begin the CD burning process.

Windows Media Player will transfer the music files from your playlist onto the CD.

Step 7: Finalize CD:

- Once the burning process is complete, Windows Media Player will prompt you to finalize the CD.

- Click on the "Yes" button to complete the process.

Your CD should now have the music files that were on the USB drive.

Note: Always Use Blank CDs

Be sure to use blank, writable CD-R or CD-RW discs for audio CDs. Do not use rewritable discs that have previously stored data, as this may cause issues during the burning process.
