What happened to the surviving members of The Doors band?

After the death of Jim Morrison, The Doors continued performing with different lead vocalists, including Iggy Pop and Paul Rothchild. However, the band officially broke up in 1973. The surviving members went on to have successful careers in music and other fields.

- Robby Krieger: After the breakup of The Doors, Krieger continued his music career as a session musician and solo artist. He has released several solo albums and has collaborated with various other musicians, including Carlos Santana and B.B. King. He is also a painter and sculptor.

- Ray Manzarek: Manzarek also continued his music career after The Doors. He formed a new band called Nite City, which released three albums. He also wrote several books, including a memoir titled "Light My Fire: My Life with The Doors." He died of bile duct cancer in 2013.

- John Densmore: Densmore left the music industry after The Doors disbanded. He focused on writing, photography, and Native American spirituality. He has published several books, including "Riders on the Storm: My Life with Jim Morrison and The Doors" and "The Seekers: Meetings with Remarkable Musicians and Artists." He also serves as a board member for several non-profit organizations.
