The current judges of American Idol are Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan. They have been judging the show since the sixteenth season, which premiered in March 2018. Perry, Richie, and Bryan replaced Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, and Harry Connick Jr., who had been the judges for seasons thirteen through fifteen.
