Jonas Brothers Information

The Jonas Brothers are a pop boy band comprising three real-life brothers: Kevin, Joe and Nick. Jonas is their surname. The trio hit it big after starring in the Disney movie "Camp Rock" in 2008. Comparisons can be drawn between them and the band Hanson, and even "High School Musical." They currently star in the Disney television series "Jonas."

    • The Jonas brothers are from Wyckoff, New Jersey. Their father is a minister and the boys were homeschooled by their mother, a talented singer in her own right.

    Birthdates

    • Kevin is the oldest and was born on Nov. 5, 1987. Joe, the middle child, was born on Aug. 15, 1989. The youngest, Nick, was born Sep. 16, 1992.

    Early Work

    • At the age of 6, Nick nabbed a role on Broadway, with roles in "Les Miserables" and "Beauty and the Beast." In 2002, he recorded a song cowritten by his father and scored a record deal. In 2005, Nick's brothers joined him and the Jonas Brothers band was formed. They landed their first acting roles in Disney's "Hannah Montana" series.

    • To date, the brothers have recorded four albums: It's About Time (2006), Jonas Brothers (2007), A Little Bit Longer (2008), and Lines, Vines and Trying Times (2009).

    Fun Facts

    • Kevin has a scar on the back of his head caused by his brother Joe---the two were engaging in a round of ultimate fighting. Nick Jonas has participated in four Broadway musicals.
