The Who disbanded in 1982 following the death of Keith Moon. However, the band reunited in 1989 and have continued to tour and record sporadically since then. In 2007, The Who were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
In recent years, The Who have been touring as a three-piece band, with Zak Starkey (son of Ringo Starr) replacing Keith Moon on drums. Pete Townshend has said that he does not believe The Who will ever tour or record again, but Roger Daltrey has stated that he is open to the possibility of future reunions.
