Nicholas Jerry Jonas (born September 16, 1992) is an American singer, songwriter, and actor. He rose to fame as a member of the Jonas Brothers, a pop rock band formed with his older brothers, Joe and Kevin. Jonas began his acting career in the Disney Channel original movie Camp Rock (2008) and its sequel Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam (2010). He has also starred in the film Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream (2008), the television series Jonas (2009–2010), and the reality show Married to Jonas (2012–2013).

Jonas's ethnic background is German, English, Irish, Scottish, and Italian. He has been quoted as saying that he is "very proud of my Italian heritage" and that he "loves being Italian". In a 2013 interview with the Italian magazine Io Donna, Jonas said that he "feels Italian" and that he "knows the Italian culture very well".
