How did drake get into music?

Aubrey Drake Graham (born October 24, 1986) is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, actor, and entrepreneur. A prominent figure in popular music, Drake is widely credited for popularizing Toronto's music scene.

Drake began acting at the age of five when he was cast in the Canadian children's series "Degrassi: The Next Generation" (2001–2009). While acting, he developed an interest in music and released his debut mixtape, "Room for Improvement", in 2006. He released his second mixtape, "Comeback Season", in 2007, and signed with Young Money Entertainment the following year. Drake's commercial success began with the release of his third mixtape, "So Far Gone" (2009), which spawned the hit singles "Best I Ever Had" and "Forever".

Drake's debut studio album, "Thank Me Later" (2010), debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart. He followed this with four commercially successful studio albums: "Take Care" (2011), "Nothing Was the Same" (2013), "Views" (2016), and "More Life" (2017). His sixth studio album, "Scorpion" (2018), broke several streaming records and became the first album to be certified platinum within three days of its release. Drake's seventh studio album, "Care Package" (2019), featured previously released loosies and unreleased songs from 2010 to 2016.

Drake has had numerous hit singles, including "Work", "Hotline Bling", "Fake Love", "Good for What", "Bad and Boujee" (as a guest artist), "Life Is Good" (as a guest artist), "Sicko Mode" (as a guest artist), "In My Feelings", "God's Plan", "Nice for What", "Nonstop", "Money Bag$," "Toosie Slide" and many more.

He has won four Grammy Awards, six American Music Awards, twenty-seven BET Awards, three Brit Awards, and twenty Juno Awards. In 2018, he was named Artist of the Decade by the Billboard Music Awards, and in 2019, he was placed second on the Billboard Artist 100 chart. He holds several chart records, including the most top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with a total of 49 entries. According to Universal Music Group, Drake was the world's most streamed artist on Spotify for seven consecutive years from 2015 to 2021.
