"Mob Rules" is the tenth studio album by heavy metal pioneers Black Sabbath. Released in 1981, it features a revamped Sabbath lineup with Ronnie James Dio (who replaced Ozzy Osbourne) on vocals and Vinnie Appice on drums. Much has been made about the cover art for the "Mob Rules" LP. The original image is a slightly altered version of artist Greg Hildebrandt's piece "Dream 1: Crucifiers," and the work has caused controversy among Black Sabbath fans since its release. The rumor is that there is a message saying "Kill Ozzy" in the cover art. Though there was much ill-will between Ozzy and the band, artist Hildebrandt denies the message was added purposefully.

Examine the bottom portion of image. Slightly off-center to the right you can make out the word "Ozzy" in red, graffiti-like lettering. The word "Kill," though less recognizable, is above the word "Ozzy."
