Who is Elton Drummer?

Nigel Olsson (born January 12, 1949) is a British drummer who has been a member of Elton John's band since 1970. He is also a songwriter and has co-written several songs with John, including "Daniel" and "Island Girl".

Olsson was born in Wallasey, Cheshire, England. He started playing drums at the age of 12 and played in several local bands before joining John's band in 1970. He has played on all of John's studio albums since then and has also toured extensively with him.

In addition to his work with John, Olsson has also played drums for other artists, including George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Stevie Wonder. He has also released two solo albums, "Nigel Olsson" (1975) and "Move the Universe" (1980).

Olsson is considered to be one of the best drummers in rock and roll. He is known for his solid timekeeping, his powerful drumming, and his ability to blend in with the other instruments in the band. He has been inducted into the Modern Drummer Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
