AC/DC is an Australian rock band formed in Sydney in 1973. The band consists of lead vocalist Brian Johnson, rhythm guitarist and co-lead vocalist Angus Young, lead guitarist Stevie Young, bassist Cliff Williams, and drummer Phil Rudd. AC/DC is often cited as one of the pioneers of hard rock and heavy metal music and is often referred to as Australia's most successful band.
