Download the iTunes application if you don't already have it on your computer (see "Resources"). This application is designed for Mac users but works just fine for PC users, too. Macintosh computers require OS 10.4.10 or later. PCs require Windows XP Service Pack 2 or later, or 32-bit editions of Windows Vista (64-bit editions of Windows Vista or later require an iTunes 8 64-bit installer). Additionally, you'll need to download QuickTime 7.5.5 (or later) regardless of which type of computer you use and have 200MB of disk space available. For full hardware and software system requirements, see the "Resource" link below; click on "Windows Requirements" to get information about using iTunes on a PC.
Establish an iTunes account. When you open iTunes, to the right side of your computer screen, you'll see a link to "Accounts." When you click this link, you'll be prompted for your Apple ID and password--this is the email address and password you used when you registered your Mac. If you don't have an Apple ID and password, no worries: you'll be given the option of creating a new account, where you enter your preferred email address and other personal information. You'll be prompted to enter your credit or debit card information, as well as your billing address. This information will remain on file whenever you use iTunes to download your favorite movies and television shows.
Access the iTunes store by clicking on the link on the left side of the screen. Type in "MythBusters" in the search bar at the top right of the screen and hit the Return key. A queue of available seasons and episodes will appear on your computer screen. Et viole: MythBusters episodes galore!
Download individual episodes for $1.99 by clicking on the "Buy Episode" button. If you really love Adam and Jamie, you can also choose to purchase entire seasons of MythBusters (ranging from $4.99 to $49.99 depending on the season and episodes available) by clicking on the "Buy Season" button. If you do the math, you save more money by purchasing MythBusters episodes by the entire season.
Access the shows you've downloaded in iTunes by clicking on "TV Shows" (under the "Library" icon), where you'll find them carefully arranged for you by episode.
