Visit the Channel Surfing website (see Resources). This site lists links for cable, network, movie and sports stations.
Browse through the different links listed until you find the station you want to watch.
Click the link for your desired station. A new Web page will open.
Click the "Play" button located in the media player on the new Web page. The TV station will begin playing after a few seconds.
Download and install the media player TVU Player (see Resources).
Open TVU Player.
Click on one of the station category buttons at the top of TVU Player. After you do, a list of available networks will show up in the column on the left side of the player.
Browse through the networks listed until you find one you wish to watch.
Click on the station. Once you do, a commercial will play on the right side of TVU Player. Then, the station will begin playing.
Download TV Ants (see Resources). This media player, like TVU Player, will open TV networks on your laptop.
Go to the My P2P Forum (see Resources).
Click the name of the sport or sports league you want to watch underneath the "Other streams" heading. A new page will open.
Find and open the "Live streaming" events link at the top of the new page.
Search for the sporting event you want to watch. There will be a link next to that event. Click the link and the sporting event will begin playing in either TV Ants, TVU Player or a different Web page. Since users can choose which types of links they upload, you will not be able to know how those links will open until you click them.
