How Do I Connect a DTV Box To a Existing Analog TV & VCR?

On June 12, 2009, local television stations stopped broadcasting in analog. Now, local television broadcasts are in a digital format. To use the older analog televisions, people need a digital television converter (DTV) box. The DTV box is a digital tuner that converts the signal into analog. Once the tuner converts the signal to digital, the analog television or VCR plays the signal. People use the DTV box instead of the television's or VCR's built-in tuner.
