How To Get Tickets To Good Morning America

Good Morning America is a morning news program, co-hosted by Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos. The show has aired live on the ABC network since 1975, and as of October 2010 continues to maintain a 7-9 a.m. slot. The daytime Emmy Award-winning program features international, national and local news, celebrity interviews and a variety of general topics. A large portion of the audience members are tourists and long time fans of the show, and attending a free live taping of the show is possible for most anyone.

Instructions

    • 1

Visit the Good Morning America website and request tickets. You can also choose, second and third choice dates. There is an option to tell something unique about yourself on the request form, which may be of interest to producers. Producers will use your comments to develop future programming. For example, stories on dealing with co-workers have helped sculpt much of the content of the "Take Control of Your Life" series.

Use the standby method. You can also show up at the Times Square Studio location (44th and Broadway) and wait on line before the show airs. It is advised to be there by 6:45 a.m. The show's producers work very hard to accommodate most people who arrive at least 15 minutes before the show airs.

Wear comfortable clothing. There may be waits involved at different points of the taping. Because the studios may be cool, wearing layers is advised. In addition, if waiting on the standby line, soft bottomed shoes might prove beneficial.
