How to Sign Up for TV Game Shows

Stop watching those lucky game show contestants on TV and get in on the action yourself. Signing up for the game show of your choice is simply a matter of filling out basic information on your computer or attending an open casting call. You can sign up for as many shows that you qualify for. You may end up back on the couch, watching in the comfort of your home, but it is worth a try.

      Select a TV game show that you wish to participate in.

      Visit the website to the game show by using your computer. You may need to first visit the website to the TV network of your game show and then select your show from a list.

      Click on "Be on the Show" or "Sign up."

      Read the rules and regulations. Make sure that you qualify by age, residence and availability.

      Fill out an application. You may need to download it first. Be prepared to email or mail a photo and writing sample in addition to your contact information. You can fill out the application online and email it, or print it, fill it out and mail it.

    Open Casting Call

      Visit the website to the game show that you wish to participate in.

      View the open casting call information. Make note of the location, date and what you may need to bring. Make sure you qualify to try out.

      Appear at the casting call on the specific date, time and location with any needed materials.

      Appear before the judges and wait to hear the results (via email or phone).
