However, there are some things to keep in mind:
* Not all PS3 models support DVD playback. The original "Fat" PS3 models are the ones that typically have DVD drives. Later "Slim" and "Super Slim" models may not include DVD drives.
* You may need to update the PS3 firmware. Older firmware versions might not support DVD playback out of the box.
* You might need to use the Blu-ray Disc™ menu. The PS3 interface may default to Blu-ray menus, so you might need to look for a DVD menu option.
If you have a PS3 that has a DVD drive, you should be able to watch DVDs. If you're unsure, you can check the model number of your PS3 or look for the DVD drive slot on the front of the console.
