Donald Clark Osmond, born December 9, 1957, in Ogden, Utah, was raised in a musical family. He began performing at age six on "The Andy Williams Show" after his older brothers were discovered by Walt Disney. In 1974, Marie, his sister, joined the act. They eventually co-hosted "The Mike Douglas Show" and went on to begin their own "Donny and Marie" show in 1976, which lasted for four years. Osmond hosted "Name That Tune" in 2007 and worked as a DJ on in Toronto, Ontario, on the radio station BOOM 97.3, in February 2010.
Leif Garrett was born on November 8, 1961, in Hollywood, California. Of the five albums he eventually released, three were recorded during the late '70s. He began regularly appearing on the cover of teen magazines such as "Tiger Beat," and receiving large amounts of fan mail. When Garrett was driving in 1979, he caused an accident that paralyzed a friend, resulting in a $7.1 million lawsuit. His alcoholism and drug abuse has received much publicity.

His first single, "Words and Music," made the top five on the local charts in Sydney, Australia. His first American tour, in 1977, propelled him to the top of the charts. Songs such as "I Just Want to Be Your Everything" and "Love is Thicker Than Water" solidified his hold on the pop market. He passed away on March 10, 1988, of heart-related problems.

Shaun Cassidy, the half brother of David Cassidy, was born on September 27, 1958. Raised in an acting family, he dabbled in acting and music until in 1977, when his role of Joe Hardy in "The Hardy Boys" catapulted him to fame. He released five albums in the late '70s which further promoted his career.
