Turn the TV face down on a flat surface protecting the screen.
Locate and remove the bolts from back of the Element TV that will be used for attaching the TV bracket of the wall mount. Check your User's Manual for the location of these bolts. Some bolt holes are covered with a plastic insert instead of a bolt.
Attach the TV bracket of the wall mount to the back of the TV using the matching bolts in the wall-mount hardware.
Set aside the TV.
Identify the location on the wall you plan to hang your TV.
Locate the studs in the wall in that area using a stud-finder. Wall studs should be centered every 16 inches.
Draw a line down the center of the two wall studs you choose to use. It should be about the height of the wall bracket.
Center the bracket between the two studs. Mark with a pencil where the line shows through an upper hole in the bracket.
Drill a pilot hole into the mark and attach the bracket to the wall stud using a lag bolt and a wrench.
Level the plate by placing the level along the top of the wall bracket; raising or lowering the other end of the bracket until the bubble on the level sits center. Mark with a pencil where the other line shows through the bracket, drill a pilot hole and attach a lag bolt.
Attach the other lag bolts into the wall studs where the line shows through.
Slide the bracket on the TV onto the wall bracket. You need someone to help you.
