How to Use a Splitter for Two TVs for Basic Cable
Basic cable doesn't require the use of a cable box and the connections from the wall are sufficient to receive your signal. When you have two televisions that you want to connect to your basic cable service, make use of a splitter. A splitter allows you to run the cable signal to another television, or another room, without having to go to the trouble of adding another cable jack. Waiting for an installer takes much longer than connecting your own splitter to get cable to your second television.
