What are the black notes on keyboard?

The black notes on a piano keyboard are called accidentals. They are used to raise or lower the pitch of a note by a half step. The sharps (♯) raise the pitch of a note, while the flats (♭) lower the pitch of a note.

The black notes are arranged in groups of two and three, with the groups of three being located in the center of the keyboard. The group of two is called a "whole tone" and the group of three is called a "semitone."

The accidentals are used to create different scales and melodies. They can also be used to add tension and drama to a piece of music.

Here is a list of the black notes on a piano keyboard, from left to right:

- C♯/D♭

- D♯/E♭

- F♯/G♭

- G♯/A♭

- A♯/B♭
