What came out first GameCube or the Playstation 1?

The Playstation 1 came out first.

* Playstation 1: Released in December 1994 in Japan, and later in 1995 in North America and Europe.

* GameCube: Released in September 2001 in Japan, and later in November 2001 in North America and Europe.

So the Playstation 1 was out for about 7 years before the GameCube came out.
