How to Make a Walter Sobchak Costume

The actor John Goodman is perhaps best known to Coen brothers fans as Walter Sobchak, The Dude's angry sidekick in the film "The Big Lebowski." A Jewish Vietnam veteran with a penchant for bowling, Sobchak refuses to "roll on Shabbos" and has a well-developed sense of justice. If you want to channel your inner Sobchak, fire up your sense of righteous vengeance, shine up your bowling ball and put together a Lebowski-inspired costume. Just be sure to stay away from Nihilists.

Grow a beard and trim it to a goatee, leaving a thin line running along your jaw and up to your hairline.
