Is the movie burlesque ok for 11 year old girls to watch?

Burlesque is rated R by the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) for its sexual content and substance abuse. The film includes numerous scenes of scantily clad women performing burlesque acts, as well as discussions about sex and drug use. It also features some profanity and violence. Because of its mature themes, Burlesque is not appropriate for children under the age of 17.
