Instructions

    • 1

Start by preparing the CD and CD player. When you begin playing the album, immediately press pause. Make sure you start the continual play function so the CD will continue throughout the movie. On most players, continuous play is started by pressing the repeat button twice.

    • 2

Play the Wizard of Oz on your VCR or DVD player. Skip past any previews and/or introductory pieces.

    • 3

Mute the sound on your television.

    • 4

Have your finger ready on the play button of your CD player. Keep a close eye on the movie and wait for the black and white MGM lion to appear. Start the album immediately after the MGM lion roars for the third time.

    • 5

Watch the first few minutes of the movie to make sure that the album is synching up properly. An early signpost to look for: During the song "Breathe", the line "...balanced on the biggest wave" should be heard as Dorothy is balancing on the fence in the pigsty.

Restart the beginning of the album and movie if you didn't get the synch quite right. It may take a few tries, but eventually you will get it.
