Create a daily call sheet header. The top part of your independent film's call sheet should include production information such as the name of the production, filming date and filming locations, as well as production contact information for cast and crew to call regarding possible emergencies. Place the crew call time and the cast call time in this section; bold these items so that everyone is clear on the time they are to report to set.
Add a filming time frame section to your daily call sheet, allowing the directors and production staff to grasp the amount of day light available for filming, as well as any potential interference from weather. This section should include sunrise time, sunset time, temperature information, rain probability and other relevant climate notes.
List each scene that is to be completed on that filming day. For each scene listed, include all required cast members and list the location, if filming in multiple locations for that day.
Add a section for crew members. This section will list all necessary crew members including production assistants and special effects people, as well as stand-ins and stunt-people, if applicable.
Complete your daily call sheet with a section that guides the required atmosphere for the day. List required background actors and featured extras, as well as any necessary props.
