Navigate to the Internet Archive website. Click the "Moving Images" link.
Scroll down the page to the "Sub-collections" area. Review the sub-collection descriptions to find the type of free movies you'd like to watch from the Internet Archives. Select "Movies" to find feature-length free movies.
If you can't find what you're looking for by browsing the movie archives, search by keyword. Select "Movies" from the drop-down list under "Moving Images." Type your keywords in the search field and click "GO!"
Click "Advanced Search" to get more refined search results. If you're looking for a specific free movie, type its title in the "AND Title" field. If you know the movie's director or producer, type it in the "AND Creator" field. If you're looking for a free movie on a certain subject, in a certain genre or with a particular actor, type the keywords in the "AND Description" field. Search within a single collection; under "AND Mediatype," select "Movies." If you know the date that the file was uploaded, select it in the "AND Date" or "AND Date range" field. Click "Search."
Click the title of the free movie you'd like to watch. Click the green arrow over the movie preview to watch the free movie in streaming mode on your computer. If you want to download it, select a movie file format from the table below. Keep in mind you may need to install a video codec to watch certain file formats, such as OGG.
