Test your Internet connection for optimal playback quality. Four millibits per second is usually considered the lowest Internet speed for watching-high definition movies online. Improve your connection's speed by limiting Internet use on other devices or websites during playback. You can upgrade your connection speed for a price by contacting your Internet service provider.
Use a graphics card, or video card, with at least 250 megabytes of memory. Graphics cards with more memory will ensure better playback quality.
Use a high-resolution monitor for optimal image quality. Use a high-definition monitor if you plan to watch high-definition films. High-definition monitors have at least 720 horizontal scan lines of pixels. More expensive HD monitors currently have up to 1,080 horizontal lines of pixels.
