Plug one of the ends of the RCA cable into the "Video Out" port on the DVD player's port panel. Plug the red plug into the red port, the white plug into the white port and the yellow plug into the yellow port. The DVD player's port panel has several small connection points and can usually be found on the back of the system.
Plug the USB cable attached to the Dazzle capture device into one of your computer's available USB ports. Take care not to force the cable into your computer's port, because this may cause damage. Flip the USB cable over if it does not fit.
Start up the Pinnacle Studio Software on your computer. Click the "Start" icon located on the lower right-hand portion of your screen. Click "Programs" and then "Pinnacle Studio."
Click the "Capture" tab at the top of the software's window. Select "Dazzle DVD Recorder" in the "Input" drop-down menu.
Press the "Eject" button on your DVD player and place the DVD you wish to watch on the tray. Close the tray by gently pushing it back into the device. Press the "Play" button on the DVD player or remote. This is usually indicated by a small arrow pointing right.
Check for video transfer in Pinnacle's preview screen.
