Located at the Lincoln Mall off of George Washington Highway, Cinemaworld is Lincoln's only movie theater, offering a grand total of 16 screens and a wide range of films. Some shows include a 3D option for an extra fee. Movies are $6 per person every day before noon and all day Tuesday. Shows from noon until 6:00 p.m. are $7.50. Evening shows are $10 for adults, $9 for students and active military members, and $7.50 for seniors 55 and up and children 12 and under. All prices are effective as of 2011.
If you’re a frequent moviegoer at Cinemaworld, signing up for the theater’s movie club can save you money. The more movies you attend, the more rewards you receive. Members enjoy discounts at the concession stand, plus rewards such as free popcorn and movie admission. Club membership is free. Membership forms are available in the lobby.
Kids who love movies will be happy to learn that Cinemaworld hosts birthday parties -- for a minimum of eight children. Party packages include admission to a movie, use of a private party room, VIP seating, party invitations and unlimited drinks. Parties must be scheduled in advance by phone or email.
