Is there a one hundred years of solitude movie?

There has never been a full-length movie adaptation of Gabriel García Márquez's "One Hundred Years of Solitude."

There have been attempts to adapt the book into a film, but none have been successful. The book's complex narrative, magical realism elements, and sprawling cast of characters pose significant challenges for filmmakers.

However, there have been some television adaptations and a stage play:

* A miniseries was produced in 1999 by Caracol Televisión. This miniseries was a 19-episode adaptation of the novel, but it was not widely seen outside of Latin America.

* A stage play adaptation, "One Hundred Years of Solitude," premiered in 2017. This play, directed by Frank Galati, was a collaborative effort between the Goodman Theatre and the National Theatre. It featured a large cast and received generally positive reviews.

While there's no film adaptation yet, the book remains a beloved and influential work, and its story continues to capture the imagination of filmmakers. It remains to be seen if anyone will successfully translate the complex world of "One Hundred Years of Solitude" to the big screen.
