Evans was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina. She began modeling at the age of 14, and she signed with Wilhelmina Models in New York City at the age of 16. She has since appeared in campaigns for brands such as Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, and Tommy Hilfiger.
In 2014, Evans was cast as a Victoria's Secret Angel. She appeared in the brand's annual fashion show every year from 2014 to 2018. She also starred in the Victoria's Secret Swimsuit Issue in 2015, 2016, and 2017.
In addition to her modeling work, Evans has also appeared in several films and television shows. She made her film debut in the 2015 comedy *Vacation*, and she has since starred in the films *The Secret Life of Pets* (2016), *The Fate of the Furious* (2017), and *Charlie's Angels* (2019).
