What is your favorite scene that from the movie and book called HOOT?

In the book _Hoot_ by Carl Hiaasen, the most climactic scene is when Roy finds a secret stash of oil cans in the middle of the forest from the construction workers hired to build the pancake house. These oil cans are covered in crude drawings and messages which tell one part of the story behind the owls and the construction zone.

There is also the iconic scene where all of the kids (including bullies) form an impromptu group to save the burrowing owl colony on the last night before the construction workers start clearing the land. They do this by throwing empty oil cans at the machines until they retreat and are chased off.
