Is it true that when filming Conan the Barbarian Arnold Schwarzenegger yet speak English and had to read his lines transliterated?

That is a myth. Although Schwarzenegger did have a heavy Austrian accent, he'd already spoken English for 15 years before filming began on Conan in 1981, and was also fluent in German and Spanish.
